Radionucleides in biological environment

ObjectiVES :

Investigation of the mechanism interaction (structural, thermodynamical) between actinides and biological molecules (proteins). Understanding of the role of the proteins in the transfer and decontamination of radionuclides in the human body.

scientific approach :

Proteins = complex molecule constituted of a sequence of peptides : investigation of interaction between U(VI) and one peptide supposed to form bond with U.

techniques used :

EXAFS, Calorimetry, SLRT, UV
