IGLEX: end of construction site
The IGLEX was decided between the two laboratories, IPNO and LAL, within the framework of the valley plan in 2012. A new record for the spoke superconducting cavities for the European Spallation Source (ESS)
In the framework of the French contribution to the construction of ESS, the future European neutron spallation source, IPN Orsay is in charge in particular of the design and construction of the intermediate energy section (90 to 220 MeV) of the proton accelerator. Céromonie de remise de prix SFP
La cérémonie de remise des prix Langevin et Joliot-Curie 2015 de la Société Française de Physique a eu lieu à l’IPN d’Orsay le 19 décembre, en présence de Michel Spiro, Président de la SFP, et de Michel Guidal, prochain directeur de l’IPN qui prendra ses fonctions officiellement le 1er janvier 2017. Festival of Science 2016
IPN has opened its doors to the general public as usual for the Festival of Science organized with twenty other laboratories on the campus of Orsay.
